Based in the Southeast, STP Tile began as a women-owned business, a rarity in the construction field. With more than 70 employees, 14 outside sales representatives, three showrooms, two pro centers, and three distribution warehouses, we inventory over 800,000 square feet of tile and 1,000 setting material SKUs, representing 150 vendors. Our representatives average about 10 years of industry experience and go through over 50 hours of training when they join our team. We believe that guiding designers and architects about the products they are specifying is essential to ensuring success. Our experienced team is always ready to assist with product selection, design consultation, and logistical solutions to meet the unique needs of every project.

Whitewood Industries, John Thomas Furniture’s parent company, was founded in 1982 as a manufacturer of solid wood, ready-to-finish furniture. As a 40 year-old company, we’ve evolved greatly into becoming a leading supplier of both finished and unfinished furniture throughout the U.S. We proudly transitioned to an Employee Owned Company in 2017. We are based in Thomasville, NC (a neighboring city to High Point, NC, the city known and widely recognized as being ‘the Furniture Capital of the World’) where we employ over 300+ dedicated North Carolina craftsmen. Today, there are four divisions under our company brand: Whitewood Ready-To-Finish (unfinished furniture), John Thomas Furniture (casual dining and custom finish programs), International Concepts (a supplier to specialty retailers), and Custom Contract Furnishings (designer/manufacturer contract upholstery).
